The Brief
Leading British designer of quality and inspired fashion, Jeff Banks, approached Onbrand4u to create and print an innovative brochure specification for their Autumn 2020 collection, which would stand out from the crowd and generate a lasting impression in a highly competitive industry.Our Creation
In line with the requirement for an eye catching print specification which also needed to be versatile for printing short runs of brochures on a variety of stocks, we worked closely with Jeff Banks to create a contrasting, fresh concept utilising a textured brochure cover with uncoated internal pages, alongside trace sections each printed with an individual illustration.Getting down into the technical nitty-gritty, we advised a matt fused appearance, which is a special finish available on specific digital presses to give a more realistic look on uncoated (non glossy or shiny) materials. This has a very unique look to it because the toner sits on top of the materials and the matt fuser removes the shine from solid areas on the artwork.
We have since additionally produced a similar brochure with the same specification but without trace sections, so this keeps complete brand consistency whilst also providing some differentiation, creating an aesthetically pleasing family of work.
The Results
